With a strong concept, “The web of emotions”, and drawing our inspiration from the brand's trademark craziness and elegance, we are dressing up Pathé and its screening rooms for a unique immersion in the brand's universe…
The cinema pre-screening is a unique part of the cinematic experience, creating a magical atmosphere before the start of the film and leaving a strong emotional imprint on spectators.
As a major and historic player in the cinema industry, Pathé had to rise to this emotional challenge by meeting basic functional needs: welcoming, informing and accompanying.
The creation uses classical cinema codes with strings, poetic piano keys and brilliant sounds to evoke emotions and reinforce the storytelling.
It begins delicately, following Pathé’s emblematic rooster, then becomes more intense with violins and wind instruments, reminiscent of a silent film soundtrack.
Modern and daring, it incorporates synthetic elements and transforms the operatic voices on the coup de coeur format, adding a touch of freshness. Touches of sound design embellish the sound universe and reinforce the story.
The new soundtrack is bold, surprising and elegant, in keeping with Pathé’s heritage.
Audiences were able to discover the new preview in the group’s 130 cinemas in France and in all other countries where the circuit operates.
