Anthony Vanger, Chief Commercial Officer

Anthony is responsible for managing teams in the creative, commercial and legal aspects of all aspects of sonic, including music strategy, audio branding, brand partnerships, and rights negotiation.

Anthony specializes in setting up partnerships with brands and agencies, leading teams to deliver world-class content, strategy, and services. He has worked with top-flight branding agencies such as Superunion, DesignBridge, and Landor and ad agencies such as McCann, Grey, and JWT. In addition to the commercial side of the business, Anthony has produced sonic branding campaigns for Santander, ITV, and Europa League, and composed award-winning music for Mastercard, Dodge, and Estee Lauder. He has composed and produced station ident projects for ITV, UK’s main independent TV channel, and TRT, Turkey’s main TV station. He has also negotiated rights on global campaigns for Coca-Cola, Staropramen, Acciona, Repsol, and Land Rover.

Additionally, Anthony continues to record music under the moniker Lord Vanger, having recently released his 6th studio album entitled LEAP and writes a weekly blog on music and tech – www.thisweekinmusic.blog – to keep up on the latest trends.

Education: Anthony holds an BA with honors from The Columbia University, New York, an MBA from the London Business School and a Masters in Journalism from the Columbia Grad School of Journalism, New York.

Quirky fact: Anthony was a member of the British Junior Ski team.
